email craze

this is an excerpt from someone's email na umiikot ngayon sa internet. hindi lang sya sa email umiikot ha, i have 3 ym buddies who sent me the same message. mukhang masyadong sikat itong si ems, at marami syang ate, heheheh. anywayz, i doubt if matutuloy pa ang bombing na yan, e super kalat na yung "news" so malamang kesa hindi na lumipat na sila ng ibang venue, baka starmall na, hehehe. juz dyoking arawnd ;)

Ate,

Wag muna kayo punta megamall..naaalala mo pa ba si janet na pinsan ni jude? pulis sya na naka-assign sa crame ngayon. Tumawag sya sakin kanina to inform me na, may nahuli daw silang abusayyaf ngayon and wala yata silang balak i-news sa tv baka matiktikan ng iba pang abusayyaf.

Regards,

true?

HOPE YOU WON'T MIND SHARING THIS
PRAYER.

This Pastor has guts!! Thought you might enjoy
this interesting Prayer given in Kansas at the
opening session of their Senate.
It seems Prayer still upsets some people. When
Minister Joe Wright was asked to open the new
session of the Kansas Senate,
everyone was expecting the usual generalities, but
this is what they heard:

"Heavenly Father, we come before you today to
ask your forgiveness
and to seek your direction and guidance. We know
Your Word says, 'Woe
to those who call evil good,' but that is exactly
what we have done.
We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed
our values.

We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery.

We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare.

We have killed our unborn and called it choice.

We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable.

We have neglected to discipline our children and
called it building
self esteem.

We have abused power and called it politics.

We have coveted our neighbor's possessions and
called it ambition.

We have polluted the air with profanity and
pornography and called
it freedom of __expression.

We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our
forefathers and
called it enlightenment.

Search us, Oh, God, and know our hearts today;
cleanse us from every
sin and set us free.

Amen!"

The response was immediate. A number of
legislators walked out
during the prayer in protest. In 6 short weeks,
Central Christian Church,
where Rev. Wright is pastor, logged more than
5,000 phone calls with
only 47 of those calls responding negatively. The
church is now
receiving international requests for copies of this
prayer from India,
Africa and Korea.

Commentator Paul Harvey aired this prayer on his
radio
program, "The Rest of the Story," and received a
larger response to
this program than any other he has ever aired.
With the Lord's help! ,
may this prayer sweep over our nation and whole
heartedly become our
desire so that we again can be called "one nation
Under God."

If possible, please pass this prayer on to your
friends. "If you
don't stand for something, you will fall for
everything."

Think about this: If you forward this prayer to
everyone on your e-mail List, in less than 30 days
it would be heard
by the world. How many People in your address
book will not receive
this prayer....do you have the

Guts to pass it on?

putting up a business

...is once in a while coming to my mind especially when i feel tired of reporting for work on an 8 to 5 or 9 to 6 basis, working hard just to please your employer, and remain patient for being granted a salary increase, and if you're luckier to have a generous employer, earn a couple or more bonuses in a year. then wait for your retirement with just as much "wealth" in your hand, thinking if it is even enough for you to enjoy life after retirement. then you think if having a family of your own will let you enjoy life more base on the salary you are earning per month against the expenses that come to you everyday.

i admit i am NOT a good business person, and marketing stuffs is simply not my forte. but sometimes i do wish to have my own business, enjoy my own time, and much more, help needy people who need employment to have a slot in your company and then be fulfilled with what you are achieving. somehow, you got to start somewhere...

Two Rules for Business Start-ups

First, find a need and fill it. Look around you and search for needs that people have for products or services that are not being met. One small idea is enough to start you on the way to business success.

Second, find a problem and solve it. Look around you for problems that you or other people have that are not yet being solved. Look for solutions that nobody has thought of and give them a try. One good solution could change the whole direction of your life.

with this post, i wish for the success of daddy L-Ey's & mommy Mia's business! *cheers*

Together Again

*A cross-posted entry from my blog.

I know how dramatic the title of this entry sounds but really, it is just fitting to use it. Together again? I'm not referring to a boy from my past but rather of good friends whom I have known for quite a few years.

It has been quite a while that we all hooked up. I was pretty ecstatic to see these people again:
Jon (though I see him more than the others), Mariel, Paul, Sally, Abie, Chip and Det. Of course, there are new friends to meet, too, such as Elton (who usually initiate the 'event') and this couple whom I wasn't able to mingle with.

By the way, that event was the annual celebration of PEx' Anniversary at the Congo Grille El Pueblo, Ortigas.

Papi was with me as we all chatted, laughed and dined. I really could not remember all the food that we ordered but I was salivating over their calamares, pork/tuna sisig and sinigang sa miso. Yumyum! Hehehe.

I wished then that
Jary, Kerwin and LA were there, too. Eh di sana we were one complete barkada. But just the same, I had fun and we all had fun. *grins*

More photos will be posted here.

So long!

PS. My apologies if my face is all over this page. Hehehe.
